Okay, the first piece of advice I will give you is to learn to pay attention to detail. The forum you posted this in is for the ASSOCIATION not the DIVISION. And since I don't have mod privilages I can't move it to the proper forum. You owe the webmaster 25 pushups for this lapse.

Your question is a recruiting question so you need to go to the Recruiting Forum and read some of the topics that are there. The first few topics you will find are sticky topics, meaning they are always at the top of the forum and contain a lot of information and links you need to read. When you have read that and still have questions feel free to post them in that forum then.

In the meantime stick around and learn what you can from the BTDTs here. Part of being a paratrooper is attitude, and there is no shortgage of that around here, as you can tell. Congratulations and good luck. Remember, never quit.

It will be hard but exciting and you will never forget the day you get your Wings and the day you get assigned to your Unit with The 82nd.   One more thing on this site "paratrooper" is always spelled with a capitol "P".

Holy Sh!t -

First we have "Tomcat" who wants info on the 82nd but then joins the Navy...Says he can't go Airborne because he's still in High School???

Now we have "Private". I agree that's a great name for him here and also agree that attention to detail is a must.

Still, it get's my d!ck hard to know that this guy is going to jump from a perfectly good aircraft while in flight by his OWN CHOICE (take that, Pussycat!).

Halalulla - there IS hope for this country. I'll be first in line to buy ANY Paratrooper a beer...especially a Cherry. Drive on, Private, and welcome to our little brotherhood.

Shoot, I thought all those posts were made by Sticky307.  I just presumed he was some kind of webmasters pet or something.

Good Luck Private - determination will get you through BAC.

There was a time almost 24 years ago when I signed up for Infantry/Airborne/82nd... Never regretted it for a minute... Good luck!...
