Update: Father in law had a seizure last week and is going downhil quickly. I believe that he has realized that his end is close as he opted to sign a DNR.

As you can expect, the family has been stressed about this, but are going to abide by his wishes.

Wife & I attended church last night and returned home feeling content. It has been tough dealing with this family problem and even tougher talking about it.

I'm glad/PROUD I'm a member of this forum which allows me to rant and rave when necessary.

I'd like to extend my thanks to all my Paratrooper.net brothers/sisters.

I will have to access this board from a library for the next 2 weeks. Today we leave for St Louis to visit father-in-law. We will move him to Kansas City on the 11th so that he will be near family. This will be a stressful and painful visit for all concerned. Thanks for all of your support and for a place to rant. --Until next time, Txhis

Howdy from St. Louis,

Hope all is well for all of you! Things here are as stressful as anyone can imagine. Father in law is fading quickly and wife is stressed out. I just had time to pop into library here and check my email and contact family/friends.

Thanks for your prayers/support! -Txhis

Thanks All. Just returned home yesterday after an exhausting week. Father in law is now living in an assisted living center in Kansas City. It is very depressing to see this happen to a human being. Txhis, out

Tx, not sure of all the details here, but I hope your father in law is as comfortable as possible.
Prayers out for him and all those affected.
