So, after all the bantering and bickering and testosterone flinging, I have an update. I just spoke with our friend GG and he has indeed DONE IT. He made it through basic, jump school, yada yada, and is now with the Herd in Iraq. He even got his mustard stain. [ ]

I remembered he went to Italy last year and wondered if he got his mustard stain. I remember having a major argument with him but don't recall what it was about. I think it happened around the time of the problems with AirborneMike.

I remember good ol' gilgamesh - he stirred up the wasp's nest here by making some remarks that could be considered unamerican. I also remember some of his opinions were kind of contradictory to that of your average lean, mean, paratroopin machine! I remember calling him gilgaf*ck or something along those lines. Things got pretty heated, I'll see if I can find the old thread. I'm glad that he got his head screwed on straight. I figure now that he's gone through some sh*t, he can now understand and appreciate what he didn't before.

Hooah!!!
Well I see that our smoke training and indoctrination worked.[ ]
Had we not smoked this young man out early and got him motivated and adjusted his attitude, he may have not made it all the way. I was a bit worried about him going the distance because of his attitude and because he failed a PT test at MEPs. I'm glad to see that he got his head an straight and made it all the way!!! Good job Gilgamesh, I'm proud of you!![thumbUp]

Keep in mind that this occurred around the same time as attacks by Airborne Mike, Alpha Dragon, and some other trolls.

Now, gentle-beings, herein lieth the question: what if the young man HASN'T changed his mind or beliefs in any way?
