I need immediate help from troopers. A member of our 82nd Chapter is in very bad shape. He was a 505 veteran of WWII. He wants to be buried in his uniform but needs a couple of items.
He wants an ascot with the 82nd patch on it. I have no clue where to get that and told his son that the best thing might be to get a local tailor shop to have it made.
I am not sure if I am reading his e-mail right, but the son talks about another set of wings that his father has. I think he is asking about where to get them. Based on his description I think they are French Instructor wings. I don't know where to get those either, although he may just be asking me to help identify them.
If anyone can help send me an e-mail or PM ASAP. Thanks.

Call over to clothing sales at Bragg and ask about the ascots, the choir uses them and I know they are available.

As for those wings, dont think I even know what those look like to be honest.

Since this guy is 505, you may wish to enlist the help of Don Lassen.

Check ebay, the sellers name is abn-sf. He is the premier collecter of airborne wings. He has written many books on the subject. I got my set from him.
