Well, kiddies, for those of you new to the board, I used to have a topic entitled Mortarman11c is Airdropping again, in which I would post the day time and place where I was coming to a city near you. Well since the war I hadn't had a chance to do much airdropping in the training world until now..........
DATE: Monday-Wednesday June 9 thru 11th
TOT: first drop Monday 1600 hours will continue for the next two days.....
DZ: Fryar DZ, Ft. Benning, Georgia.
That's right children, Big Al is returning to Mecca to drop CHERRIES!!!!!!
The most fun a former paratrooper can have is kicking wannabe's straight in the ass as they unload the jet for the first time!!!!! I am looking forward to returning to the place where 20 years ago next month I went through Infantry training and Airborne School.

I've met a few of the members this way and I'd like to meet more. I know Rios is in the AO and I sure as hell wouldn't mind taking his beer money.

Mortorman how goes life in the states? Do you know if you are planning on flying back over here any time soon? I have not forgotten about the PIC, HH6 has it and should be sending it over to me so dont worry. Worst case is that when I get home I drive on down to your AO and hand deliever it to you. I hope all is well back there and you are enjoying life. I know how badly you were suffering in that place where we last saw each other, the conditions there were just so bad! Ha Ha! Take care my friend!

Hey Muddy, wish I was putting the boot to your ass over Frayer. Actually other than it being frickin' HOT AS HELL, the drops went quite well. Got a contact in the e-mail, so at least someone out there cares about me. I'll try to do a DZ hookup and treat that individual and the accompanying HH6 to a frosty beverage.

Hey Mortar,
I think that a friend of mine's kid may be exiting the aircraft at Benning for the first time during those dates. I'll have to check with him on that info. Don't take it too easy on those cherries!
