You might think that is a feature column or something but its actually the new addition to the board "Ask a Recruiter" is the an active duty Army Captain recruiting in Chicago and has agreed to start hanging around this AO in order to provide full and complete (and most importantly) OFFICIAL answers to recruiting questions.

She's a fellow paratrooper so she knows that EVERY new recruit needs an airborne contract (just kidding... or am I?). I had the privledge of meeting her at the Chicago Memorial Day Parade and she is also one of the members in my Chicago 82nd Airborne Division Association Chapter so she's GOOD TO GO... HIGH SPEED, LOW DRAG and DRIVING ON!

Make her feel welcome and hopefully she'll be answering questions as schedule permits.

Howdy, Ma'am.
What's the general policies on foreign types (Say Canadians, as an example?) joining up down there? Just out of curiosity? Hypothetically speaking, of course.

New pers buy the beer.

Welcome to Paratrooper.net Capt. Hall, hope your tour is fun and interesting. This is an avid, outspoken group of psychos, intellectuals, weirdos, libertarians, gun-nuts, wackos, and comedians (and those are the good ones) . . . but all with paratrooper hearts and spirits.

hey Para... lets keep questions in new topics... start a topic in this recruiting section for your question that way they are easier to track than 10 differnt questions in an intro thread.

Welcome CPT Hall. I just left USAREC in OCT 02. It was a challenging command. Keep up the fire!
