look at the aimpoints. They seem to be mounted backwards. funny. Maybe the guys that posed for the pics were mad at doing a dog and pony. Maybe they were not used to the fancy toys.

I didn't see it. Somebody at lightfighter did.

If you load a mudfoot down with a lot of gadgets he has to watch somebody a lot more simply equipped - say with a stone axe - will sneak up and bash his head in while he is trying to read a Vernier. - Robert Heinlein

Maybe it's just propaganda. It's just a recruiting poster. We're already stuck with the INE beret and the "Army of One". Do aim points really matter?[!]

Maybe the guy who set up the weapons is the same guy who worked on "Tears of the Sun"[]

What about PERSEC? Sheesh, we've got a name and full face for a Specialist in the 10th SF now, plus a name of a SSG. Unless that's all made up, of course.

There've been several faces and names of SF troops in the ads in magazines for months now. One I remember quiet clearly, showed three SF Sgts. It was a close-up of their faces from the shoulders up. I remember that the one guy had his ranger tab as well, and I think he was a SSG.

Does the add depict two Armies of One or one Army of Two?[bogld]
