Hello...I have one question : can military service be a way
to U.S. citizenship? I've herard from a friend that something such is possible...

Absolutley man! The Preisedent has made it a priority to grant citizenship to immigrants who are serving in our military. I'm sure some of the recruiters have a lot more information on the exact details.

It has always been my belief that if a person chooses to serve our military, that individual should automatically be granted citizenship.

Jumpmaster K... i totally agree with you that if anyone immigrates and serves, it should be an almost instant 'in' providing they pass certain security measures. I would haveso much morer espect for the illegal mexican that jumps the border to the nearest recruioter for 4 years than the one who lives off welfare.

I would like to think that if they are serving in the U.S. Armed Forces, they have passed all the security measures necessary.

I believe all you need is a Green Card (work permit) to hit the recruiters and get your contract.
