I am sure it will, if you guys don't go to war again. At least you get to do what you trained for. We used to pray for a chance to use our training. You must have today off, are you on leave?

I got a good a$$ chewing by our Brigade CSM. We had a Bn run and he deicided to run with us. I had been down range until around 4 drinking. I was in the back of formation puking on the run (never getting out of step) when CSM McFowler runs by me as I puke!!! He said "Son You're a running drunk!!!!! I could smell you way back there!!!" I couldn't say anything, I puked again trying to answer him. He asked who my 1SG was then told me "You better not fall out of this run son!!"
I made it and never heard from anyone about it.

There was a strange thing about drunk runs and NCO's in my squad in Korea.
Squad Leader walks into my room at about 2230 and he is wasted. He updates us on some of the next days events, then goes. Me and my roomate look at each other and say, "he's bombed, tommorrow's PT is gonna be easy". He must have been listening at the door, cause he popped his head in with a big ole smile and said, "No, I run better hungover".
And I'll be damned if we didnt run the 5 Motherf'rs the next morning at a high rate of speed. [tdn]

my old squad leader was the same way. one time he told us "no drinking on school nights". we were all like, yea right. the next day he comes in drunk as hell and says, "since i got drunk last night i have to punish us." he took us on a run that lasted an hour and a half including two obstacle courses. the run ended by him saying, "now lets not do that again."

Whenever I was saused I would volounteer for roadguard so no 'highers' would smell me.

More runs completed (with the chumming) than jumps!! I said it then and I still say it now (without the running tho), no more heavy drinkin, but d*mn if I don't [bang][bang][bang]
That d*mn music the Duece played over the loud speakers all the way up the road caused numerous vomits too....... Lets just say the pukers were the masses!!
