This morning on her way to PT (dont ask why I have a female 1SG) my 1SG went to the local 7-11 to get some coffee, upon entering she saw a soldier in BDU's, no top on and her INE beret on indoors. Being the 1SG that she is, she attempted to correct the soldier only to have a "I dont give a **** response". She told the soldier who she was and the soldier said she didnt give a f^ck. 1SG took the licsense plate and DOD registration and ran it through the MP's. It turned out to be a SPC in the MP Co. To make a long story short she is losing rank.......I do not think I would have been so civil, I do not claim to be a hardass but I think my initial reaction would have been to throw this soldier into the Slurpee machine. Just curious to see what you guys would do in this situation

I would have done the exact same thing this 1SG did.She maintained her bearing, conducted herself professionally and had results.

I agree and add, think... 7-11 has cameras, it was civilian land, news at 11 mean anything. 1SG kept her cool and her rank, SPC is gonna be PFC, I can see who won that pissing contest.

Your 1SG acted quite appropriately, and the situation seems to be taking care of itself. I'd like to know why the dingbat SPC would be walking around without the BDU top, but still wearing her headgear? Anyway, maybe she'll learn something from losing rank and the corresponding pay. Now she'll be paid less to not give a s[cencrd]t.
ALWAYS OUT FRONT

I agree with your points and I would have done the same thing, I am just saying it would have been hard to deal with that without going off the deep end

No doubt many of us Non-Coms have been there, the urge to get your hands around said dumbasses neck, very hard to resist,But We are professionals, and are expected to make competent(I'm looking for a different word there)decisions in times of stress. Then pen is sometimes mightier than the sword!
