We had a funeral for my HH6's great, great uncle on Saturday. I had met Ted several times over the past few years, but was totaly blown away at the funeral - it turns out Ted was a P-38 pilot in the Pacifc, with over 70 missions under his belt before he was shot down and captured. He went on to fly fighters in the Korean war, also.

I'm sure I'll be able to piece together more of the story this summer when we have our annual family reunion - but the ability to hear it directly from the source is now lost forever.

Go with God, Colonel.

Welcome to another Red Devil rehersal, only this time it's for real

Another good man gone. At least it's to a better place.
