I was wondering with all the newbies, wannabes, gonnabes, tryintobes, cherries and LEGS...The status of your time to report, status of the red tape,etc...nothing long and drawn out, just a little sitrep as of now.We have a large amount of regular guys going in,trying to get in,wishing they could get in,and it confuses me who's what, and doing or not doing.I think little updates would be kinda cool, then when I see a "soon to be" say something retarded,I can pop on back here and go,"Oh....ok!"

Crently in the National Guard (I live in Atlanta, GA)
Current MOS: 09S (Officer Candidate) was an 88M when AD 12 years ago.

Thanks fellas,I like how yall made your posts......very Airborne!,I'm routing/proud for all ya's,it's a great feeling right before you go in,and a greater one once you become a soldier,so the feeling of your 5th jump goes without saying.
Hey don't worry bnz, situps were my weak event in the APFT and I still always maintained 290's and up,just stay at it! I despise the SUPINE BYCYCLE!!!!!!!!!!!

Yea..I have a few suggestions...
First off..I like your attitude TBullard..and I would buy you a drink but your in training..so be strong..
I am in Tucson..so I could introduce you to skydiving at ELOY AZ on a off training day..this will come in handy to have feel for free-fall before doing it in Mil..
Get yourself a copy of FM 21-26 for Land Nav and get a tritium Lensatic compass model 3H made by Cammenga...find it in Army Navy store or find it online..Start using that model compass and get maps of your local montain areas and do some orienteering..it's fun to do at night...Also learn the night sky and the stars and know there positions at different times of the year..
I will be going SF as well..but will go through ARMY National Gaurd...hopefully we will cross paths some day wearing the beret
Regards
Chris
