I hope they get that tango spider so that family can return to they're home.

I'm Surprised Panama's still sea level, after all the Push Ups I did down there.

There are so many myths about camel spiders (they arent even spiders)... they arent even venomous. 10mph top speed (fast but not as fast as stated around) and they are more scorpion than spider. They 'chew' and damage tissue then use the typical enzymes of arachnids to break down the soft tissues.

The only time a bite would be a problem is if it gets infected.

As usual, out of proportion... check out the various sites like National Geographic on them and you'll see that while they are 6 inches of quick moving freak spiderish animal. They arent all that the internet has made them out to be.

+1, Rigger82. They are scary as hell the first time you encounter one, but they aren't all that. And as for that picture that Slim posted, that is the after effects of a brown recluse bite. It has been out on the internet and relabled everything from snakebite to black widow bite. However, it was done on a test subject, and that is a picture of Day 6. I have the rest of the pictures from Day 2 to 6. The only reason I know this is that with the 7 brown recluse bites I have been blessed with in my short life thus far, I have had to do my research...

And another thing... didn't this guy have to empty all their baggage at Customs to go home? I know the US troops do. I think that would have alleviated this situation.
