Dang Hippo. I'm glad you're still around, but at least you know that thing works!

Damned glad your home, please refrain from any repeat performances as we enjoy your input around here.

My wife went out and bought me a lift chair to help make it easier to get up. New more restricted diet. No more caffeine. And the new med I was taking about.
Amiodarone is the name. Sounds like a real bad one to mess around with. Here is a link in case you medical guys want to check it out:

I guess I am feeling like this is the drug that they choose last. If it don't kill me it will cure me. One or the other. Got me a bit down and feeing my mortality I guess. I know that I want a few more years with my wife but for the first time I am worried about it.
Well, crying about it won't help. I just have to suck it up and do what needs to be done. Shake a few pounds and give up things that excite me too much.
Told Geraldine if something starts to aggravate me instead of getting mad I will just pull out my 45 and shoot it. No more stress and aggravation then.

That will certainly keep your stress level down! Sounds like a pretty rough drug alright. I found out that it would react with at least three of the many medications I have to take. But as my pappy says, any day that I greet the dawn for another day is a good day indeed. Chin up, G.H.

Hey, GH. I just got back off vacation and read about your shocking experience. Please do not do this again. We need your attitude around here for a long time. Old Herdsmen are getting harder to find.

A little better every day. Thanks for the support guys, I have to admit that part of what keeps me going is the same as it was back in the day: I don't want to let the guys next to me down.
