C Co 2/325th AIR 91-96 11B1P

I would always wonder what was more dangerous, a White Falcon or a Charlie Cobra.

Yah, Cobras were, OK.... But, the Bravo "Nasty Boys" were the guys to be recon with...of course thier called "Legion" now...

Man I feel OLD.....

Oh well, there still Falcons...AIRBORNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know, I've always wanted to ask: Is it true that Falcons jump without parachutes?

We jumped with our all reliable PONCHO's......haha...they were our bread and butter, for the nasty ole-rainy ass field exercise's....

"If it ain't raining we ain't a training".

It was called "Airborne Infantry Regiment" back in the day when they were Glider Riders...had to make them feel like they were a part of the team. Those were the only 325er's with REAL BALLS!!!

But, lets also remember that they were the engineers and they had no idea what might come next.

I have utter admiration for those guys...and I have a couple that I talk to from time to time....... AIRBORNE to them.

They showed us the way, and they passed the torch.

So, just out of curiosity (seriously this time) - and not to be a dick - but what is it that differentiates the 325 from the other infantry regiments?

When I was at Bragg (89-93) I always heard that the 325 was the shit.  But it seemed to me that the "no war '04"...misnomer, if there ever was one...and the '05 participated in the same DRF structure, EDREs, EIB testing, deployments - both real and imagined, brigade/batallion/company/squad evals, etc. that the 325 did.  Other than being an "A.I.R." what made/makes you studs so special?

I do realize that all of the comments in this thread are good natured paratrooper ribbing - which I'm certain we can all take - but again, why are you dudes God's gift to the Airborne?
