| That was a GREAT history read. I remember in Raider School back in '64, amoungst our MANY long range patrols, doing all the things that then became Air Assault, but we also got to jump out of the hueys. We rapelled on a 150 ft platform along side the Little River. We also did the Slide For Life there as well. Those 2 events were rather cool. welcome to the site Riding 4Life. Now, GET YOUR WINGS. Ahh Air Assault School, I was forced to go when I was stationed at Campbell in 94, I wasn't impressed at the time, reminded me of a bunch of wanabe Black Hats running around making rappelling sound harder than it was.
But hey, by then I could wear 3 badges on my uniform
