Well my wife’s only brother is in Afghanistan now. He was Air Force when he was active duty and has been a civilian employee since he got out. I think he is getting close to retirement now but with the WOT still going on his job is in even more demand.
As he is in logistics he keeps getting sent over, this is only one of maybe four trips there so far. He was even in Bosnia some years back. Anyway, if anyone is in that area watch his back for my wife and kick him in the rear for me.
The missus did tell him that if he needed backup to look for Airborne troops and tell them I asked them to watch over him.
The hippo is unpredictable and aggressive with old scars and fresh, deep wounds providing signs of daily fights that are accompanied by much bellowing, neighing and snorting.

| Bagram isn't a bad place to be. I liked it. 'Course I probably wouldn't recognize the place now, 5 years after I left. Hard to believe it's been that long...
