My father and mother were both in the Air Force, my father is a retired Master Sergeant with 22 years, my mother is a former Major with 13 years. My brother is currently at US Army Infantry OSUT
then on to Airborne and if he can RIP. My question is, can either of my parents wear their respective uniforms to my brothers graduation? I'm pretty sure my Dad can because he is retired.

I'm pretty sure my Dad can because he is retired.My guess is that you would actually need to refer to the appropriate AFR since AFAIK the ARs only cover Army personnel. Maybe JR, Mortarman11c, Warpusher or one of the other current/former AF guys could chime in here...

Somehow I think it's the shoddy material used in the uniforms. Put in in the closet for years and it shrinks, terribly!!!

Do a little bit more research. I believe that your dad may be authorized to wear the uniform as he is retired. I believe that your mom is not authorized since she did not retire.

Bro this is America. If a former Joe wants to wear his past service uniform, then who is going to stop him?? The uniform police?
