You may have gathered from my earlier answer to the other post (which coincidentally is how I found this awesome resource) that I'm the boss at the:

301st Psychological Operations (Tactical)(Airborne) - San Diego, CA

We are on jump status (one of, what 5 units in the reserve system?) and we are not a jump club.  Most of our Battle Assemblies are of the MUTA 5 variety where we conduct a Friday night tactical into training areas, and jump back Sunday morning for recovery.

My last unit was 7 years at 10th SFG(A), and I have brought those higher standards to an already high standard unit.  I commute from Denver to San Diego, because the Unit is worth it.

You will be required to pass the APFT on the 17-21 age scale as long as you are there.

I have more DLI slots than I can fill.

Minimum ST of 105 required, as well as a clearance (E-5 and above must have TS eligibility).

My slots are turned off in the recruiters' computer, as I do not want them loading me a bunch of broken (insert pogue MOS here) to make their quota.  All slots are given after CDR/1SG interview.

If you are not jump qualified, I will make you that way.  If you are E-5 or above, you will be groomed for JM school and PFDR.

You will deploy.  Frequently.  Current dwell is only about 2 years.  You are warned.

If you are looking to transition from Active, Guard, or want to be a higher speed reserve unit and live in the vicinity of SOCAL, send me a e-mail.

You state "tactical", is there a non tactical side to Psy ops?
What does your unit do to be classified as this?
Thanks
