Now that I thought about it, I didn't know they let NCO's reclass to combay MOS's. They said it would behard to lead if you are brand new to it. But I guess it happens.

Anyway, good luck and as long as you are on them all the time, you will have an airborne slot. Lead from the front!

10 years ago when I showed up at Bragg, we had an E-6 who reclassed from PAC to infantry. And along with him, there was, and I'm not kidding, at trombone playing NCO that transfered over to 11B. I thought he was yanking my chain, but he swore up and down. Nobody believed him because he was the scout platoon sergeant, masterblaster, pathfinder, ranger tab. We couldn't believe he use to be a tooter.

Heh!! Now mind you I did not have all the badges, but nothing says a musician can not be a good infantryman!! I played Brass a long time before I ever strapped on a pair of boots. Heck, still can play as a matter of fact.
Why this one time at band camp, I got this flute player to....

Okay, update. My class got deleted, so I have to get a new class date. Hopefully they won't make me wait another year!

Sorry to hear that.  What do you mean by "deleted?"  Was this not a reenlistment reclass option (i.e. contractual)?  Regardless, in the interim, put in a 4187 for Jump School.  The worst anybody can say is, well, nothing.

Sorry to hear that as well.

I'm Surprised Panama's still sea level, after all the Push Ups I did down there.

Okay, just talked to re-up. My Korea assignment should fall off shortly and when it does the are going to get me another school date and once again request Ft. Bragg as a follow on assignment. Hopefully this time I'll get it instead of Korea. If anyone has any suggestions I am all ears!
