Well I report to Benning on 16 May!!!! O man I am excited!!!! I am going to be TDY and return but I am still going to try and volunteer for Airborne school right after I graduate. Maybe I'll get lucky, if not maybe I'll get stationed at Bragg. I wish I could get my follow on orders now. Oh yeah.... stupid question time. DO 11B's serve in Cav units or is that only 19D's? Sorry for my sheltered quartermaster retardedness.

| A few points: * First, congrats on your decision to reclass 11 series. Good stuff. * Don't volunteer for Airborne School after you graduate from AIT. You should be tactfully and respectfully mentioning your desire to attend BAC from day one. I assume from your avatar that you are an NCO. Assuming your PT is solid, this may help in acquiring a slot. As an NCO, the Drill Sergeants will expect a lot out of you (leading by example, highly motivated, etc.), so give it to them! * The chance of getting stationed at Bragg as a leg 11B are pretty slim. Find a way to get a slot. * I do believe that there are 11Bs in cav units. One of the currently serving hooahs will certainly correct me if I'm wrong. * Sheltered retardedness? Dude, I can only imagine the guts it takes to be a 92M. * Enjoy your stay with Sandra Hill. Good luck.

Thanks! My P.T. is great consistently score 286-288. Just cant break that 290 mark. Yeah better believe that I will be "inquiring" about Airborne as soon as I get there. I think the hardest thing about 92M for me was watching the combat guys foing back out and not being able to jump on the truck with them. Seriously..... I'm as giddy as a schoolgirl on Prom night! lol

| Congratulations! Good for going for what you want. And if everything doesn't work out, I might be headed right behind you. 92M? That's mortuary affairs, right? I think you are the first one of those I've ever met. Anyway, good luck.

| Best of luck. Remember, they can kill you but they can't eat you! I agree with another poster here. Try to get to jump school while your there. Besides, once your finished with 11B training you'll probably be in even better physical shape than you are now. And never ever ever even think about getting a tattoo denoting some qualification you have not earned yet! I'll bet your smarter than that but I gotta tell ya. Some bonehead in my class showed up the first morning of Tower week with a small bandage on his arm. The black hats made him remove the bandage and under it was "Airborne Ranger". He was just starting the second week of jump school and sure as hell wasn't Ranger qualified. In less than five minutes the five black hats grouped around him screaming at him while running him through grass drills drove him to quit!

| Glad to see you make the change. Back in 91' we had a reclass in our AIT. Don't remember what his prior MOS was but they did expect more from him. He was a E-4.
