| Don't know if she is the 82nd LNO or what. If that was the case, then the 101st and 10th Mountain would have one there as well. But the point is, she either is to lazy to watch the outbound flights or is to wrapped up in bean counting to step outside the frickin' hard shelter, and speak to guys who could move the troops. 40+ empty seats 18 hours away from home is unexcusable! As far as follow on missions, I'm on orders thru 31 May. I plan another input at the end of the month or 1st part of May. I may end up in A'Stan or in Iraq. Don't know yet. I'm taking leave during AA week in order to enjoy the festivities..........

Mudpup92r (4/7/2008) Spoke with a 82nd Trooper today and he said the word they got was that she got home and didnt even schedule any flights for the Troops. Some Major is taking care of it now.Holy Shit!! Guess she either does not like the Army much and wants to remain a captain until pushed out, or she is just brain dead. I say we let ROS deal with her...

| I think the line in the movie From Here to Eternity is very appropriate: The first thing I learned when I became an officer was to take care of the soldiers. It looks like that's the first thing you forgot. Pinhead bureaucrat!
Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American GI. One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

When I rotated out of Afghanistan and into Manas they gave us a two beer ration card. After a nearly 9 month rotation into the Stan it was a welcome one. About 30 mins later some 82ND LNO at Manas said we could not drink. Everyone else stationed there could but not us. Maybe he failed to realize he now had a company plus of pissed off paratroopers with guns.
I would have just found some Major to take your side and pull some rank on that CPT.
