| You guys see the video of a Marine showing a puppy on video followed by throwing it down a cliff [Iraq]??? The USMC is investigating the video. Apparently the marine and his family have received a bunch of death threats. Update: an MSNBC report had said youtube took the video down but I did a search and found it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOT05DsbrAU Anyone think its fake?

I have not seen the video, but I read the article this morning. This turd just surpassed Al-Jazeera in damaging the reputation of our servicemen.

| If the video is authentic in my book that loser with the puppy threw away his Marine title and pinned on the "POS" one. Thousands of good deeds in OIF for one turd to tarnish all of it in the eyes of many. Sad.

| I'd reserve judgement until the video was proven to be authentic and verified as servicemember. This kind of thing could just be an attempt to further diminish our deployments and sow more dissent here at home for operations. If it does prove authentic then I trust appropriate diciplinary measures will take place.

I am reserving judgement myself. Since my first post I have questioned the video. However, the USMC saw it and immediately launched an investigation so it more than likely had the same impact on them [and youtube removed it]. I'm sure the Corps will get to the bottom of it.
