There is at least one of those WWII barracks that are now part of the new Infantry Museum.  They have a WWII company street that includes Patton's HQ and a Chapel.  From what I understand the Chapel is already available for rental for special occasions.

martinjmpr (2/20/2008)I think there are some old WWII barracks over on main post that have been re-sided and used for offices for years (they were offices when I was at Benning almost 30 years ago.)   

I was on Benning two weeks ago.  Soldier's Plaza is still standing tall.

Fond memories indeed, although the stall-less commodes were, well, a bit gay, as was raking lines in the sand in the dark under the barracks.
