Stay safe and have fun.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American GI.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

"History teaches that when you become indifferent and lose the will to fight someone who has the will to fight will take over." COLONEL BULL SIMONS

thanks all for the good wishes.

I am back safe and sound. Spent a little bit if time in 5 different countries over the past 10 days. The UK, Germany, Kazakhstan, Russia and Holland. Most of my time was spent in Kazakhstan working on a new Air Traffic Control system for their version of the FAA. It was a very interesting trip and brought many mixed emotion. It is a beautiful country with beautiful people.

And for those that want to know, Yes, I scored 3 of the 10 caches in the country.

Nope no camels. Even though I understand that there are some in the SW part of the country. It was all SNOW, Horse and Yak. Ate plenty of horse meat stew. The local beer was pretty damn good and they drink an a lot of vodka.

The area I was in looked a lot like the plains of North Dakota. Flat and White with 40 MPH winds and blowing snow.

The southern part of the country is at the base of the Tibet Plateau and just to the west of the Gobi Desert.

Don't know if I'll get back there again anytime soon, but I will have several groups of staff that work for me living there for 5-8 months.

What did they do to deserve that?

If they come back married to one of those yak's it'll be your fault......

Yuk, Yuk, Yuk.

Oh wait, Yak, Yak, Yak.

They beg me to go. It's called Tax Free Per Diem plus car and other expenses. May can make $5-10K in a 6 month period.
