I dont remember that. She was a Golden Knight for a while. She was in Korea for about 4 or 5 months after I got there, then PCS'd back to the States.

Was she Japanese? The rigger I know was a Golden Knight and the last I knew of her, she was an E7 at Ft Benning pack shed.

Thats her. I think she went to Ft. Lee, but not sure. My old squad leader from Korea was an instructor at AIT. He said she was supposedly inbound, but I never heard for sure if she was.

| We both were in the 861st QM Company (AER&S). She came in the Army Reserve and than went active duty about 1985-86. She was a very good rigger and loved to jump. She was a Golden Knight during the time two jumpers collided and one lost both legs.

The other guy died. I remember when I was out processing at Bragg, the guy that lost his legs was there. I dont know if he was retiring, or what, but he was processing the same time I was.

Yes, he tried to stay on active duty, but the Army said no.

| http://www.danabowman.com/ He actually did reenlist but retired in 1996 with 15 years in service. Ask Jmpmster to tell you the story about him in the hospitality room at the Airborne Awards in Atlanta last year.

He actually did reenlist after the accident but retired in 1996. I saw him in 2002, but it must have been after one of his speeches at WOMACK.
