Side note.. is 307th pulling in NAP? Wonder if he reported to the unit and then got deployed before he could get his wings.

I didnt even notice that. I only saw the AA patch. He must have been assigned and deployed before he had a chance to attend BAC.

RIP Brother Renegade!  That soldier was from my old Battalion when I was in Div.  The reason for the NAP's being in Div is simple, the OIF and OEF rotations are comming so fast and the turn over rate from PCS, ETS... is stretching the Army beyond what it was designed to do. So if the "other" units have trouble getting soldiers right out of AIT it is even harder for Div to get Paratroopers.
