I read some of the replies. Looks like a 25:1 ratio against Berkley. I hope all the liberal bleeding heart retards move to California, it deserves them. In all probability the Ciy will win and the Marines will leave.

I like this guy's comment on the article... (Too bad he ripped off Jack Nicholson though in "A Few Good Men")You freaking people have no idea how to defend a nation. Unfortuently our nation has walls and those walls have to be gaurded by men with guns. Who's gonna do it, code pink, Berkley City Council. I would much rather them just say thank you and be on their way, if not, then pick up a weapon and stand the post. Either way I don't give a damm how they feel.
The marines do the job and I could'nt be more proud of our men & women in uniform. My opinion is to ship CP and the city council to the remote regions of Pakistan or usbekastan, drop them off and let them hang out with the anti-social, extremist killers of over 7000 American lives and countless Arab lives. | Is this the town that has Berkely University in it? Shades of the '60's come back to me. I agree that no Fed money should go their way, but it will still flow. What was interesting back in the 60's was that while they were protesting the war back then, the Feds were pumping tons of money in the school. That was where the Unix code was written. The Internet is based on that code. Words like "Kill" were used as executables. All the while, they gave the combat soldier a very hard time. I agree: Use them as Urban target practice.
