There will be a Paratrooper Gathering held in Lebanon, TN the weekend on June 6-8. This Gathering started out 5 or 6 years ago as the PNET gathering and has grown every year. Lebanon is right down the road (like 15 minutes) from Nashville, TN. Most folks try to arrive on Friday and leave sometime Sunday morning/early afternoon unless your catching a flight. The gathering is being hosted this year by Jim Baskins, a Vietnam Vet.

The address is:

430 Carver Lane, Lebanon, TN. 37087

Dates:

June 6-8

Who's invited?

All Paratroopers and their significant others.

Children are discouraged due to the nature of the festivities. (alcohol, and the normal Paratrooper language that takes place)

What is this all about?

This is a yearly get together of Paratroopers that allows Veterans, Active Duty and the folks who have seen us through the deployments, get together and share some good times. There is always plenty of food and beverages (non-alcoholic included). Past years have included a "range day" where you could put some rounds down range with different weapons of various sizes and caliburs.  A trip to the range is in the works for this year also. The Middle Tn area has some great golf courses and if your a history buff, look up the Battle at Stones River. The Jack Daniel's distillery is about an hour trip from where the gathering is being held. If you think you might be interested in attending, just drop an email to jeff@jeffcondon.net

Hope to see you there! AATW!!

Heeeeeey! I'm just outside Decatur AL, I bet I'm just a 2 hour drive from the action. Is there a time table posted anywhere?

There will be Hippos.

<HR>

The hippo is unpredictable and aggressive with old scars and fresh, deep wounds providing signs of daily fights that are accompanied by much bellowing, neighing and snorting.

Well might be able to make this one.

Depends if the wife will let me go.

We're out of town the weekend prior so we shall see. Can you say frequent flyer miles.

By the way. Any caches in the local area??????

Got a list of lodging in the area? Any willing to cut us a deal?

Twenty miles from "Cacheville" TN, home of the LUM, and you want to know if there are any caches nearby?
