I was reading the bulletin today and I thought of a question.  Why does the Public Relations Committee not have the National Webmaster as a member given that the Webmaster is a Director?

Because there technically is no position of national webmaster. I volunteer and they list me for contact purposes but when/if I am no longer a National Director, I have no more rights up at the big table than any regular member again.

One day they might recognize the need for a technology officer or something

 

Yes, that would be my concern about it being formalized but then again, the historian isnt elected and serves at the pleasure of the Executive Officers and that seems to work out.

I DEFINATELY think that it would be good because more and more email and web items are coming up and being on the board to answer those questions in a formal manner makes sense rather than having to sit in the cheap seats and only be allowed to clarify IF I was called to do so by a sitting board member.
