Students attending the Special Forces Qualification Course at Fort Bragg, N.C., will conduct their two-week “Robin Sage” training exercise across a 15-county area in central North Carolina beginning Tuesday.

That's odd.  Since when does Army Times publish the start dates of Robin Sage?

Incidentally, I think I have a friend going through that course.  A guy I was in law school with, who is at the 18D course.  A mutual friend said he would be done with his training by the middle of January, so that sounds about right.

Ever since some of the students were shot at by locals as they ran around the countryside.
I mean it is North Carolina for God's sake.

Their web page will pick up news from other sources and run it, even though it won't make the actual print edition.

It was a local police officer who engaged students he stopped in a truck... they thought he was part of the game and he supposedly was clueless about it.

You are correct.  When it restarted in 2005 (I think), it was published in the local newspapers that it was starting.
