Hopefully the suit will be settled in favor of the Family. Maybe that will encourage others to sue the assholes. I went to a Funeral this past Summer, the Westboro scumbags were there as well. Just Girls in their 20's and some smaller Children, rather pathetic.

These scumbags only go where they know the likelihood of getting thier ass kicked is almost nil. They love the spotlight because they can wrap themselves in the 1st amendment. Frankly I wish local law enforcement and media would turn a blind eye to this crew and let them get a little bit of what they deserve.

| I hope he wins because this is just wrong on so many levels for them to do what they do. But, I am afraid the protestors may win just on the First Amendment argument. No matter how tastless it is what they do even ass holes are protected. I hope I am wrong! Muddy!!!

| Some insight from here in Kansas - One of the guys in my unit works in the State's Attorney's office: These guys do this so they WILL get their asses kicked. Or at least - Get assaulted in some fashion. It's apparently a revenue stream for them. State guys would like to look at assessing fines against those who assault WBC members ranging from .01 to 1.00 The WBC guys are idiots - Plain and simple.
