| Off to the land of the sand for a ten-twelve day input. With beer stops, er...rest stops in Germany both ways. Should be back in time for my anniversary on the 31st. Day three and in Germany. Not at Ramstein tho.....  so can't call for backup from my homeys there. Headed downrange hopefully soon. Typical war stuff. Folks and stuff going down, bringing folks and stuff coming back.Did meet a interesting cat the other day though. Army Joe wearing the SEAL trident. He's the real deal....said he tried to go back Navy before 9-11 and they din't have a billet for him, (downsizing you know) so he swapped to Army and works in a Group. He said after 9-11 they were begging him to come back Swabbie side. He said, No thank you, I like this job a little better. We mutually knew folks in the SOF community and one who I know real well in my civilian job.  Hopefully we'll get back through Ramstein so i can mooch off of some Airborne folks I know there............heh, heh.
