| Just wanted to say hi to all who may have known my dad, or even went to school with me. Miss those days but were hard times for Dad. He retired in may of 1973 did'nt care for the new army after vietnam. He passed away in 1994. (agent orange) I enjoy the pic of Lee Barracks, ah memories slid down that hill with barbwire many times taking short cuts to the movies, many cuts and lost little girl purses stuck to barb. Dad had to go to Landstul for treatment post vietnam depression. let me know if any remember him. CSM Ronald Veasey

| Sorry to hear about your Dad. I remember him, I was in 1st Bn 509th at Lee Barracks from 1970 - 1972. If you have a good photo of him from that era, post it if you can. It will help us old guys! We thank your Dad and your family for their service.

| Anna, you probably don't remember me either. I was a LT at Lee Bks from 68 -70. I liked your Dad. He was a NO BS guy. We got along very well. He kept me out of trouble on a couple of occassions. I'm saddened to learn of his death. Glad to see you checking in here. There's a few old Gonsenheimers around. They may come out to say 'Tag.
