Meh... why waste an extra round? Because center mass with pistol rounds don't always do the trick.I once had a case where the vic was shot cross cavity with a 9mm hollowpoint that entered under the left armpit, tore through the left lung, obliterated the heart and then continued through the right lung and ended up lodged in a rib. From where he was shot, he ran 220 yards and collasped on his momma's porch. The last time that I checked, the world record for the 200m is around 19 secs. The vic was probably alive for at least that long. In 19 seconds, I can inflict a lot of damage if I still have an intact cranial vault! Ammo is cheap. life isn't!

| Nice post, Ertman. It's amazing how much the human organism can endure. I had a friend who was hit at point blank in the back of the head and the bullet exited out of the eye. He's still alive. I also had a neighbor got shot six times in the belly and is still alive with no debilitating consequences. In both cases, the rounds were 7.62 X 25 mm Ball.

hmmm...... Ferret at work  hmmmm WTF  that girl has a bomb strapped to her chest. Shit there is over a thousand people here Ok my blue pages don't cover this.......I work my way over behind her not making eye contact. I get close enough I draw my weapon and execute her. One person vs. 1,000 I do the math and understand that I have to do this. The bomb guys come and remove the bomb and find out it is play doh and a old circuit board. Here is the real funny thing the news is all over it....... People are picketing my private residence, I am called a murderer because I killed a "student" My department drops me like a hot rock as soon as they get out of prosecution by stating that I acted outside the parameters of the blue pages. If I am not sentenced to prison for life I shovel veal shit the rest of my life after release from prison. The other way I do nothing and she detonates the real bomb and kills 1,000 people and one litigious worried po-po. Do any of you think this was a test?
