| Welcome, I was in C 1/508th myself I just missed you cause I left Bananaland on Nov 30 89' approx 3 weeks before "Just Cause" after my 2 year tour down there. What PLT were you in, cause I was in 2nd PLT 3 SQD; the one that both Deblois and Coats were in the only guys in our entire unit to be killed during the invasion were from the one I just left. Guess whose getting released from prison next month, yep Manuel Noriega think Jimmy Carter's gonna fly down there to through a party for him?
I'm Surprised Panama's still sea level, after all the Push Ups I did down there.

| Blackflagg509, this is funny. I was assigned to the 1st Squad 2nd Plt. Yeah, there was a lot of grief in the platoon about them.

| Airborneleg, I met SSG Wentworth from 3rd PLT one night at Midnight Chow up at Fort Chaffee, AR during the MIC/LIC Breaks we had at JRTC during one of the Roatations one night/morning. He was an OC there and we chewed the fat for a bit; he told me about SSG's Henderson and O'Neal both from 2nd PLT who got busted and kicked out of the Army after "Just Cause" for taking Seperate Rats while living in the Barracks, God both those NCO's were shitbags not like the men they replaced. O'Neal replaced SSG Victoria a Dominican who had to be the best SQD LDR I had in my Army career; Henderson that racist fvck replaced SSG Northcutt one Helluva good man and a leader. I was also told that another 2nd SQD man Buckwhite who ended up in the stockade for what he did to a Panamanian woman during the Invasion. Henderson was a worthless POS when I was there thank God I never had to go to combat with him or I would probably be dead myself since he almost killed me one night on a jump over Venado DZ in 89' when he entangled with me. That man couldn't land nav for shit, shoot, control a parachute, speak English, the list goes on and on..

O' Neal and Henderson were dx'd for hiding weapons and loot they scored during out time in the Comandancia. There was another kid, Angel, who took a grip of cash and got busted the night before he was supposed to fly out. The other guy you mention was Buckner, and I didn't hear about the molesting of women during the battle (don't know who would have had time or energy for that) but I believe he was chaptered for alcohol related offenses as were a number of guys after it was all over. There was a serious breakdown of mental health care and the only way we had to cope was to drink way too much. Made for some interesting fights in the Howard NCO club Even Hinman wasn't immune. He got busted for DWI shortly after the war as he was caught leaving a party at Clayton. What, you ask, tipped the MPs off that our Somoan Southerner was a little tipsy? Well, he left Boner, the dog he scored from the PDF at Amador, tied to the bumper of his truck as he attempted to drive back to Kobbe. Fitz had his hands full for sure.
