Hello all, been looking for a site like this for a long time. Well a little about me. I joined the army in Nov 85 with a Reserve unit out of Spokane, WA. Spent 6 months as a 75B Personnel Admin Specialist, decided I liked the active duty better and went active in Oct 86. First duty station was 2nd Bde 1st Armored in Erlangen FRG. Went over on a 18 month tour and got stuck there for 2 years. While there spent 13months in Graf and Hohenfelds of the 2 Years. Ended up extending my enlistment for 2 months to get back to the states and was stationed at a Trans Bn in lovely Ft Storey VA. While there reenlisted for 11B with Abn school. After 2nd AIT at Sand Hill and Abn School with D 1/507 was posted to C1/508 Ft Kobbe RP 3 days after Just Cause was declared over. Spent my time on PCC guard, and Jungle School. Left Panama and went to Fort Ord, where 3/27 Inf got the last of the cohort's. Spent 18 months there and helped close that post then went to Alaska. I started out in 5/9 Manchu's and then was directed to interview for the Brigade Commanders Driver position. Ended up being selected. Spent my last 2 years as a command driver for a full bird. Jumping again.

I wear the wings of the US, Argentina and Thailand. Plus the EIB and Bullwinkle badge.

I ETS'ed from the Army in Alaska and thought I wanted to Build airplanes in Seattle but found it was pretty boring so I joined the Air Guard. I now am an AGR with the Western Air Defense Sector at McChord AFB, WA.

I sure wish I was still Airborne Infantry.

Leonard

Welcome to P-net!

Welcome troop!!

Airborne is not a badge but rather a philosophy for life.....unless you accidently fell out of an aircraft in flight six times.

Skip, out
