How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth
By: Gordon D. Fee, Douglas Stuart

I have a copy on my bookshelf, Rigger. If you'd like it, just PM a PO box to send to. It helps, alot, especially with those wierd books like Daniel and Revelation.

Thats a very good help. I'd also recommend looking at a very contemporary version such as The Message. I think Dr. Peterson in his work has captured the emotion behind the message of scripture better than anyone I've ever read

"...my religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me." He added, after a pause, looking me full in the face: "That is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave"
