Rigger arrived 30 minutes late at ATL weather delays.  We had a nice lunch at America's busiest airport and were proud to see the USO and the many waiting at the airport give warm welcomes again and again to groups of 20-30 soldiers as they passed through returning for 30 leaves from the middle east.  Over a couple sandwiches we discussed Mark's game week plans for a few minutes and how good some of these young soldiers looked.  (Does anyone recall the babe's-r-us recruiters working on our behalf when we were in division?)

As fate would have it the security check point line suddenly swelled from nothing to a 30 minute wait and Mark had to go. A little assistance to get him through check point charlie and he was playing O.J. to the train.  As fortune found him, his departing flight had a 20 minute delay and he found himself on the ground in Fayetteville by 5:30.  He should be pulling up to Bragg just about now.

"...my religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me." He added, after a pause, looking me full in the face: "That is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave"

Its morning and Im having coffee at that Canopy Lounge here at Moon Hall. Waiting on my EA rep (since he's from LA and thus 3 hours off) to wake up and pull it together.

Today we'll be doing most of the running and setting up for the event tomorrow. Just now realizing again how much it sucks to be without a POV.

LOL.. More later.
