Been offline and out of touch for a couple days... missed this as a result.

Andre, wife and my prayers are with you and your family! Those kids of your are tough, they'll make full recoveries I'm sure.

Hossra,

Damn glad to hear that the little guy has such a good attitude. Definately show that he takes after his father.

My prayers are with you and your family. Hope the recover progresses well and quickly.

Dave

Im sure he'll hop in and give you an update but when I talk to him last week the family was doing much better and progressing in the recovery. I get the impression that there is a lot more to overcome mentally than physically but it seems to be moving along.

Thanks, Mark, and thanks all for the continuing prayers and concern. I owe you BIG !

All are slowly returning to normal life. HH6 Katy has to have additional plastic surgeries on her arm and face and repair of her eardrum (perforated with 10% hearing loss) but is expected to get back to 100% physical normal. Max (now 4) might have additional plastic surgery on his face and scalp but, thank God, has no (at this time) evident emotional trauma -- he was asleep at the incident and in the hospital. Alex (7) has nightmares and problems sleeping without lights but, with therapy (for all) is recovering.

The biggest challenge is the emotional recovery -- for all of us. Again, with the love, prayers of family and friends and good therapy, we are continuing the mission.

The boys are back in school and Katy is back at the helm as the stay-at-home Mom and Commander, HOUSECOM.

I'm physically and emotionally spent but have regained the perimeter and am redistributing food, water and a double load of ammo.

Very glad to hear things are improving, another prayer sent.

The hippo is unpredictable and aggressive with old scars and fresh, deep wounds providing signs of daily fights that are accompanied by much bellowing, neighing and snorting.
