Oh wow.  I am glad to hear everyone is doing well.  Hossra, if there is anything you need, please do not hesitate to ask me.  My Best friend lives right by you and can get stuff to you rather quickly.  Please pass along my thoughts and prayers to your family for me.

Thanks all. To say that this has been a test of faith, family and friends would be an understatement. We passed 4.0 across the boards.

Funny story for you.

Max, our 3 year old, was in the Pediatric ICU at Children's (one of the best in the world). The Chief of Neurology was poking him, looking for responses, to see to what extent his TBI (subdural hematoma) was affecting him.

Raising his voice through the process, the Doc asked Max to:

(a) raise his left thumb (he did);

(b) raise his right thumb (he did); and

(c) almost screaming at Max, to raise two fingers.

Max, slowly, raised one. His MIDDLE finger. :::))))

The nurses roared in laughter and the Doc, rubbing his chin said "yep, that shows intent and response).

He is TRULY the son of a paratrooper !

God bless you all and keep the prayers coming. HH6 is still in a burn unit and I, as the XO (!) am in charge of cooking. The boys REALLY want their Mommy back.

Glad to see that the apple does not fall far from the tree.  I hope their recovery goes smoothly.  Prayers are being sent out for your family.

Great news... thanks for keeping us in the loop, I know most of us are not close enough to be hands on with assistance but we are standing by if a resupply mission is needed.
