| THANKS for all the good wishes, y'all! We are STILL hanging out in Germany and waiting to get out. I'm manifested as Michele's non-medical attendant, but the latest word from the effin' BUREAUCRATS here is that I might not be able to fly with her due to a shortage of space. I might have to hit the Ramstein PAX terminal and try to use my emergency leav e paperwork to get outta here, which I won't do until I know she is safely in the air. What a pain in the ass... The only good thing is that we're suffering through all this mess together - AND - The Adminocracy is trying to take THAT away... My tolerance for all this stuff is really diminishing... Keep the prayers and good thoughts coming!

| The Medavac stage runs flights twice weekly to Andrews. They are usually packed with priority comabt wounded patients. They'll make room for you soon. In the mean while, just enjoy Germany and don't forget to file your travel voucher. $118.00 a day while in Germany. Your both entitled to perdiem while in travel status. Especially if you have to pay outta pocket for room and board. If you want to contact SSG Charles Popp, the 82nd Liason and my buddy, he can help you out with flight info etc. PM me for his cell phone number.

Just imagine how bad it might be if the two of you didn't have the collective rank and experience with dealing with this type of Army BS... I wish you guys all the luck in the world, let me know if i can do anything to help from way over here in Indiana...
BA Actually, it's AF BS. However, after the frustration, these guys did some great 'make things happen' work for us today and we are hooked up with commercial flights now. We'll be making our way up to Frankfurt soon. I totally understand where I stand in terms of priority patients obviously, but there's not much to do when you're in a lock-down mode. My biggest concern is that I don't have tons of time; I am still trying to make a PCS move in less than 60 days! Doesn't matter now, we'll be in travel mode again shortly! Thanks again to everyone.

| Just picked up on this thread (had my antennae up my fourth point). I hope this all works out well for you two. I may have to beam over to DC and point the death ray at the hospital staff if I hear they start shamming on this one....
