JMPMASTR (7/9/2007) Okay, now I realize I've been AWOL lately from the site due to AT, family vacation and work issues but I cannot believe I had to find this thread today no heads up from my p's here. JR, Michele I am so sorry to hear about all the difficulties, now I don't have much pull for sure but I have about half a dozen former CSMs in the SF Assn. who would have been able to lend a hand here and there, you guys shouldn't have been put through the unnecessary hassles. Best wishes for a complete recovery and return to full party mode! Maybe we can have a getogether before you guys are PCS'd from the Hotlanta A.O.Dude - Thanks for the kind words! Hope all is well with you and yours. I think a getogether is outta the question, as we're leaving within the next 48-72 hours and every waking minnit until then is packed with prepping for the move. Thanks, though!

I've been outta the loop for a while too. Glad to see that Michele is doing well, JR once again the maxim, never underestimate the Army's ability to screw up your plans, holds true. Hopefully you can get some of this straightened out.

"...my religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me." MMMMMM...............Beer!
Who put that camera in my living room. I've been out of the loop here in Ass-crackistan.

| OK, Update ~ BS6 is doing well and hopefully we don't have to worry about a recurrance. She's enjoying the break associated with the short school days. I have been absolutely swamped with stuff from both my new civilian and military jobs. On the civvy side, I hired on to teach officers about the automated Army Battlefield Control Systems. On the military side, I'm now a Company First Sergeant. My unit is in the process of sending two Companies over to Iraq, so I've been busy all around. Selected for promotion in Aug, but still waiting, due to admin foul-ups of amazing proportions. VERY frustrating... My 20 year old son is temporarily living with us, as he's moved over from the UK, where he lived with his mother. He's an outstanding athlete and was on the Great Britain cycling team that won the European championship a couple of years ago. Now that he's here, he's looking at perhaps joining the Army and trying to get in to their World Class Athlete Program. Me - I'm just worried about him joining the military in time of war, but I can understand why it would interest him. BS6's Mom and Grandma both live with us. Grandma had a heart attack a couple of weeks ago, followed by bypass surgery. She's home now, but not really doing all that well. She had to go on oxygen just a couple of days ago, so it's not looking too good. She won't do her breathing exercises, which is a frustration. Tons of stuff to do and never enough time to do any of it - That's the norm around the house at the moment. OH - We went to Vegas recently for a Jimmy Buffett concert. BS6 came back with this little souvenir from Vince Neil Ink: Yar!!!!

Hey, glad that things are going OK if busy for you. Still you guys are still heavy on my prayer list. I see you went with the subtle theme on the tat.

"...my religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me." He added, after a pause, looking me full in the face: "That is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave" General "Stonewall" Jackson
