| Here is a little tale about being thankful and taking things for granted. I have two boys, ages 4 and 2 1/2. I've never realized how much I pick them up and carry them, hug them and kiss them until now. I am home with a scorching case of poison sumac and haven't touched them except to kiss their heads for two days now. My wife went through this not long ago when her gal bladder came out. She was down for about 2 weeks without picking up our boys. I just had the shot and am on prednizone, so I should be good in a couple of days. But it's strange how much I miss just sitting beside my boys or having them sit on my lap while we eat. The question is how long it will take me to forget how much I enjoy them near to me. When I'm healthier, will I get frustrated when his cereal bowl spills milk on my lap or I end up wearing spaghetti? I hope not, but I know my history. So I guess these little reminders are good for me. P.S. If anybody has any good Poison Ivy Home Remedies, shoot me a PM and I'll be greatful for that too (in case the shot and the pills don't kick this).
I lack people-skills.

| Hold them and hug them and kiss them? What kind of pansies are you raising? Just kidding, my oldest boys are the same age as yours. Abstinence makes you appreciate things that you may have never realized you had.

| Kids grow up too fast. Take the time to be with them when ever you can. Mine are now grown up, so it's the grand kids I get to hug. Ain't nothing wrong with a grown man hugging and kissing his kids. There are a lot of men that should have done it and didn't, and once they grow up it is too late.
All the way, sir!!!

TRy Aveeno oatmeal bath to help heal the poison sumac. It really helped when I got a bad case of sunburn. Takes away the itching and the pain. May help ease the pain a bit.
