My dad is in his 70's and complained recently of some pain at a physical.  A CT or MRI revealed a mass on his kidney the size of a baseball.  He's been scheduled for a biopsy Wednesday.  If you're the praying persuasion I'd ask that you join me in a few words on behalf of him and my mom for comfort, peace and if it in the grand will of his life, healing.  I'm pretty sure they are both worired. Between now and the results on Friday it will only build. I'm a great distance away, but I hope I can reach out and touch them perhaps this way.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Mark, I will continue to pray that everything works out and your father has a speedy recovery. I have a magnet on my refigerator that says...More things are wrought by prayer than this world dreams of. I believe that. Take care and know that we are praying for you and your family.

Will keep you, your Dad and the family in our daily prayers!

He has definitely been added to my prayers.  I hope everything turns out to be fine.

In our thoughts and prayers...

"...my religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me." He added, after a pause, looking me full in the face: "That is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave"

Mike, my thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American GI.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.
