Why the hell would the Army care how much college a person has? Pat Tillman had a masters when he enlisted. I also thought they had raised the maximum age for enlistment to 42? Either way his active duty time would be subtracted from his age so he does qualify to enlist.Guys who enlist are awarded rank based on their college education. With a bachelors degree, you start out as an E4. With an Associates, E3. You can also be an E3 if you have a couple years of JROTC. That part I understand. But too much college education?

I think there is an age limit on commissioning. Something like, you cannot have reached your 34th birthday by the time you commission.
