Cool story

"...my religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me." He added, after a pause, looking me full in the face: "That is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave" General "Stonewall" Jackson

| From the story: "That evening he lost someone he deeply loved and, although an atheist, he prayed to God to place a hand of comfort upon his shoulder in his time of loss." Somehow I doubt the author of that was truly an athiest.

I'm not convinced there are any.... The general revelation of God in creation (Psalm 19 & Romans 1) would seem to reinforce the point that there really aren't athests. Even the spiritually dead know that He IS, even though they live in bondage to sin (Eph 2).
