He is one of my Joes and attempted suicide last night, he was very serious about it and fortunately one of his buddies took care of him and stopped him. His method was every bit as ugly as it was lethal. He's young kid with a lot going for him but has gotten slammed by life recently. He's doing better tonight but needs prayer

"...my religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me." He added, after a pause, looking me full in the face: "That is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave" General "Stonewall" Jackson

He is in my prayers this afternoon. The valley is a lonely place, tell him about the shepherd and his plans. (Jeremiah 29:11-13)
