hey guys (and gals); just dropping in to say the search continues for my Dad's records. It is encouraging to think about all the help and references that you offered.I'll continue to visit this site and keep you informed of all I find out.Maybe once the unit, etc. is discovered, someone will know someone who knows someone who knew my Dad.In the meantime, hang tough and give 'em hell! NO SIR Rigger 82! Although it has been a tough search, I'm not discouraged.Sorry if it sounded that way. I really appreciate this site and all the help and hints it has provided. When I labeled my post bs, it was because my subject did not seem very compelling to others.I do apologize...To answer the question of what I found out, there were about eight Roy Wilsons in the parachute infantry during the last world war.I picked one likely suspect from the list,(based on enlistment location),and requested a form to file to request his records. The process of elimination will have to be my method. My lady's callin' got to go. MAY THE WIND ALWAYS BE ON YOUR FACE,AND THE SUN AT YOUR BACK. P.S. Will check back in tomorrow.
