| Yes and No, Yes it is of the same lineage of lrrps but no..this was the late 80s re-activation of lrrps units to pull close surv snoop and poop type missions for corp level intel assets. the specific personnel i am looking for are the hard charging lrrp/lrs from 86-89 in ludwigsburg ger, near stuttgart. most of the psg and pl were guys rotating oversee from rgr bns in the states. in the 80s there were not alot of places for senior rgr ncos to go oversees and get a decent assignment. Can anyone remember the name of the ranger led school in bad tolz...RPT or something like that... this school and training was awesome. we did a few rotations and deployments there.. In general fco 51st inf ...we raised alot of hell, kicked ass/took alot of names, got kicked off border patrol and were known for our intense lrrp skills, drinking, and brawling skills... "I Serve"
